“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”

Zechariah 4:6

We believe this to be true today. There are people working hard to reach the peoples of Vietnam, proclaiming the gospel and planting churches. Vietnamese peoples will come to Christ and churches will be planted by God’s spirit alone in a way that allows only God to get the glory. And God desires us to be a part of it.

Get Involved

This prayer project is a reminder that the mission is not dependent on us but on the Holy Spirit. Prayer sets us in a place of reliance on God who alone can change the hearts of the peoples of Vietnam. We need to pray often and recruit others to join us. We need the church and the world praying for Vietnamese people.

Here are a few ways you can get involved:

Become a Prayer Advocate

Commit personally to pray with a special focus on the peoples of Vietnam.

We've created a daily Prayer Guide for you to use in your family, small group, or church. We pray this will be a helpful tool.

  • 31 Day Prayer Guide (PDF) - This 16-page guide can be printed as single pages or in booklet format (8.5x11, folded in half).
  • Calendar Version (PDF) - This simplified, one-page calendar version of the prayer guide is available for easy sharing and distribution.

Gather Others to Pray

Share about the peoples of Vietnam with those around you—your friends, neighbors, small group. As you explore this site, pray in response to what impacts you. Share your experience with others and tell them how the Spirit is working in you.

Reach Out

Did you know that a large number of Vietnamese people actually live in other countries around the world? Maybe you don’t have Vietnamese people in your area…or maybe you do. There’s a good chance someone near you could be Vietnamese or animist or Buddhist. Reach out to them and share the good news of Christ.

Spread the Word

Download these social media graphics to spread the word about Pray For Vietnam. These are specifically created so you can post these on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or your personal website. Use these images to share what God is doing in Vietnam and encourage your family and friends to join you in interceding on behalf of the peoples of Vietnam.
