PRAY FOR VIETNAM
PA HNGAbout
PA HNG
The Pa Hng (called Pa Then in Vietnam) of northern Vietnam worship their ancestors. Most homes contain an ancestral altar. Many of the Pa Hng feed the spirits of their ancestors by placing rice and meat out on the table for them. The male head of the family calls on the spirits of their ancestors to come share the feast and to protect the family from illness and injury. Pray that the Pa Hng will come to have a deep desire to have a personal relationship with the God who created them and loves them deeply.

PRAY FOR THE
PA HNG
Use the requests, prayers, and Scripture below to guide your prayers for the Pa Hng over the next week.
MONDAY
Pray that Pa Hng Christians will stand strong in their faith in the midst of persecution. Ask God to give them understanding of the Vietnamese Scriptures as they grow in their walk with Christ.
Father, I ask when the Pa Hng cry to You in their trouble that You will save them from their distress. Send forth Your word and heal them. Rescue the Pa Hng from the grave. I pray the Pa Hng will give thanks to You for Your unfailing love and Your wonderful deeds for them. May the Pa Hng offer thanks to You and tell of Your works with songs of joy. (Psalm 107:19-22)
TUESDAY
Pray for the Pa Hng Christians to have passion and zeal to share their faith with their families and friends. Ask God to soften the hearts of their families and friends and to bring them to Himself.
All the earth bows down to You. They sing praise to You. They sing praise to Your name. I pray the Pa Hng will come and see what You
have done. How awesome are Your works on their behalf. You rule forever by Your power and Your eyes watch over the Pa Hng. (Psalm 66:4-7)
WEDNESDAY
Pray that God will open the door for discipleship and training opportunities among the Pa Hng Christians as they seek to mature in their faith.
Thank You, Father, that Light has come to the Pa Hng. I pray they live by the truth and come into the light. You are the One who turns their darkness into light. When You created the world, You spoke and said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Let the light of Your face shine upon the Pa Hng, O Lord. (John 3:19- 21; Psalm 18:28; Genesis 1:3; Psalm 4:6)
THURSDAY
Ask God to raise up leaders among the Pa Hng Christians as they meet together to worship and study the Bible. Pray that these leaders will have vision to reach out to the Pa Hng who don’t yet know Christ.
Father, I pray the Pa Hng, who are called by Your name, will humble themselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from their wicked ways, for then You will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
FRIDAY
Pray that there will soon be a vital, growing church in every Pa Hng village.
Lord Jesus, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and with Your blood You purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. I thank You, Father, that you have made the Pa Hng to be a kingdom and priests to serve You and that they will reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10)
SATURDAY
Ask God to call out laborers to share the Gospel among the Pa Hng.
You, Lord, have chosen the Pa Hng. They are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to You, God. I pray the Pa Hng will
declare praises to You who called them out of darkness into Your wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)
SUNDAY
Pray for the Pa Hng Christians who will be meeting together today to worship God. Pray that they will be renewed and strengthened in their faith through their worship experience.
Father, may the Pa Hng come and bow down and worship and kneel before You their Maker, for You are their God and they are thepeople of Your pasture, the flock under Your care. May the Pa Hng hear Your voice today and not harden their hearts. (Psalm 95:6-8)
